I am glad to hear you are getting away. After I left the last comment I read more of your blog and have to say I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how painful that must be.
God's plan doesn't always make sense, but He loves us.
Thank you for the answer to my question. My son's case will be different as we already tested his hearing and it is excellent. I have no idea yet why he doesn't talk.

Anna, we are actually on Day 1 of our Disney vacation right now. I am so glad you are getting away to have some fun. Disney is great with kids, but also a total blast when it is just you and your honey. Have a wonderful time!
