So Glad he's a liar...

Yup you heard me right. So glad that Christopher is a liar, and a very convincing one too.
2 weeks ago, he had school pictures done. That morning he was impossible, getting him dressed was a chore, he didn't want to wear any of his nicer clothes and then finally after screaming and yelling and undressing countless times, he finally settled on a read sweatshirt...and I just gave up.
Sent him in and hoped for the best.
When he got home I asked him if he got pictures done and he said "I don't like pictures" ...oh boy here we go. Then I asked him if he smiled, and he said "no, I looked the other way" and he demonstrated what he did. He then covered his face and said "no more pictures"....
So I was not expecting much, and was more than prepared to ask for my money back when the pictures came in..
Well today he came home from school and he shows me this:

I couldn't be happier that the little stinker lied, cause he looks like his usual gorgeous self..and yes, my #3 has Rob Pattinson eyes! =0)

Another year...another Santa!

I'm Happy to Say we Survived Christmas Portraits and got to see Santa!
This year we hit Sears for our portraits like we do every year, and every year my expectations are lower and lower.
This year, getting 4 kids dressed and out the door for our 5pm session was a mission in itself, and we actually made it to our appointment in time.
Since we waited this long (our pics won't be ready till the 16th) the studio was not half as crowded as it usually is, and we only had to wait till 5:13 to go in.
The boys were surprisingly cooperative and Bella even decided to wake up for a few of them...
The family shots were interesting.....I'll leave it at that, and the individuals were ok but would of been better if the girl was able to crop without charging extra (stupid sears policy).
Overall it was a pretty good experience.
As we were leaving, the kids started begging to see Santa so we hit the central part of the mall and saw a huge line....then we realized it wasn't for the jolly old guy, but for some dance performance going on, and we got to see Santa without waiting at all....SCORE!!!!!!!!!
The kids were ok, and pretty excited, except for Christopher who is not fond of any grown up in costume...(see Easter Bunny blog for further proof) LOL.
We are officially ready for the holidays!!!!!!!

School Pictures..Round 2

As I said in my previous post, having 3 kids in 3 schools means that we get school pics in at different times, I'm happy to report that Christophers will be taken in December, rather than the spring...so I'm hoping we'll have those back before the new year.
Matthews came in yesterday, and I'm happy to say, that the new company they hired did a GREAT job.... but I'll let you judge for yourself.

School Pictures...

Well This year I have 3 kids in 3 different schools, so Anthony got his school pictures done, the second week of school, Matthew didn't get his done till almost the end of October and Christopher will not be getting his done until the spring...so I will have to show off their "perfect little poses" (yeah right) as they come in.
For Anthony's pic (which by the way was in his back pack for 3 days before he remembered that he had it) I had to do a little comparison to his picture from last year...just because....

On a bonus note, Isabella's hospital "professional" (if that's what you call the discharge nurse in the nursery)1 day old picture came in, so I figured I would share.
When I get a chance I plan on scanning the ones of the boys so we can compare...it will be interesting to see what my loyal readers think......
For now, enjoy my little princess and her wide open eyes!

Pumpkins, Superheroes and Scary Guys galore!

So Halloween 2009 has come and gone. Since it was a Saturday we made it a whole day thing. We started off by carving our pumpkins. This year the boys cleaned out their own pumpkins and picked out what they wanted on them. Maybe next year they will take over some of the carving, cause I'm just not that good at it.
With the baby coming, I didn't really have time to fuss over the whole Halloween thing, so the boys did the decorating themselves (thus it looks like someone threw up spider webs all over our lawn) and we had to recycle 2 costumes since 2 that we bought were too small and I'll end up selling them on ebay in a few months.
.
We settled on Jason, a Werewolf, Superman/Pterodactyl (he wore both at different points in the day) and a baby in a pumpkin outfit that was HUGE on her! LOL

After dinner they went out Trick or Treating with daddy, in the drizzle and an hour later they came home in a downpour, so they looked more like wet rats at their return! LOL
over all the neighbors were generous and the sugar high continues even after I sorted and left them only with "acceptable" candy!

Term baby.............wow

Ok it's official I have carried this baby to term...which means....dear little sweetheart, you can come whenever your ready....the sooner the better! mommy is getting impatient.
Last Friday I went in to the perinatologist and the tech discovered that the baby is once again almost in position, her head is still a little to the side, digging into my hip bone, but a few contractions should knock her into place! She's measuring about 6lbs...and all looks good, fluid is at a steady 9.0 which is perfect for this stage...
Over the weekend I was very achy and had quite a few contractions, but that's about it.
Today I went in for my regular appointment, BP was fine, I tested Negative for the Group B strep test, so no need for antibiotics during labor...wooo hooo.
I also did not gain any weight, so I"m at +12 for the pregnancy and doubt I will gain any more...unless I go on a major eating spree...which is unlikely since my stomach is squished beyond belief...
I discussed tube tying with my doc if I end up with a c-section, if not, DH will get snipped after she's born. Next week at 38 weeks the doc will start checking me for progress, and then we'll take it from there....can't believe the pregnancy is finally coming to an end....but I must admit I can't wait.

Fun Foto Meme

So Shanna tagged me for this fun photo game.
The rules are to choose the sixth photo from your sixth album and post it with a brief description and/or the story behind it. So here is my photo

This was actually from my Fall 2007 album and it's Christopher during one of Anthony's soccer games and he decided to take one of the balls that the coach had for the game.
It reminds me of the good old days when he would actually stand still to take pictures!
Thanks Shanna for taking me down memory lane!

Here are my 6 being tagged:
