This house has been buzzing the past month....actually it's better to say "my husband has been bugging"LOL.He is such a big NY Yankee fan, that this world series win just made his decade!
When Anthony was born, wayyy back in 1998 the Yankees were on a major winning streak, they kept winning and winning, and then after winning the Subway World Series in 2000 that was it for a while! (This also coincides with Anthony showing a preference for the Mets....a disgrace in itself).
Last year Matthew started playing T-Ball and with his growing baseball skills, along came a new interest in actually watching professional baseball, and being the sweet boy that he is, he decided to become a Yankee fan like his daddy!
This year since I was very pregnant and a big insomniac, I actually got into watching the games with my hubby and boys since sleep wasn't happening, and we really got into it, so when on Wednesday night the Yankees beat the crap out of the Phillies, we were soo excited!
Today is the Parade down in NYC and DH really wanted to go, but his sidekick Matthew decided that he really didn't want to miss school (strange kid...I know).
So we will be watching on TV while everyone else freezes their butts down the Canyon of Heroes!
PS. promising news.....Christopher and Bella both seem to prefer the Yankees!
