I have never had GD with the other kids, so I'm sure that this time will be another negative, but either way I have to go through the testing "just in case".
My doctor is one of those cruel ones that makes us fast from midnight the night before, and since I'm not a night snacker, it usually isn't a problem. Except for Thursday night, at 3am when I woke up cause my stomach was growling!!! (I swear my mind loves to play tricks on me). So I had a really really hard time getting back to sleep.
Got up at 6:30, like usual, the lab does not open till 7:30.....so I make breakfast and lunch for the boys....and DON"T EAT! (this is getting harder by the minute).
Finally get the boys on the camp bus and head to the lab by 8:30 in a monsoon of a storm....
Get there and hope to choose my flavor or poison....and they hand me a bottle of the orange crap! (at least it was cold). I drank it in the 5 minutes required and then sat down to wait for my hour of torture....
As I sat there re-reading Twilight! (yeah I know...) I start burping up the orange crap....over and over and over.....ahhhhhh.
The hour was up and they took 2 stinking viles of blood! (darn vampires).
I get my results on the 11th when I go in for my next appointment, and hopefully I don't have to go through this again with the 3 hour version...
Of course, not eating for so long got me sick for the rest of the day! man....I hate that stupid test!

ohhhh, that test is vile! I had it multiple times, but this last one for Jack made me almost pass out. It was insane. I am so sorry it made you sick.
i think i'm the only one out there that doesn't think that orange stuff is that bad..;)
