Back from our Kidless Getaway!

As our annual tradition....(sometimes more often than that), DH and I left the 3 kids behind and went off for our night away.
This year we chose to head off to the boonies of Connecticut since we haven't been there in about 4 years since our beloved Bo Bice was going to be in town.
We left after putting the boys on the bus on Thursday and headed out...we had to make a million stops since my bladder was not cooperating, but we made it to our hotel (about 20 minutes from Mohegan Sun) and got comfortable!
Last night we got to Mohegan Sun nice and early since Bo was putting on a free show, and we wanted to get a decent spot! We waited online for about 1 1/2 hours, taking bathroom and food breaks (the people in front of us were nice enough to hold out spot in line). We actually got the last 2 seats on the bottom section next to the stage...it was awesome. Once again Bo put on a great show...it was so hard to stay in our seats, but the dictator old fart guy "keeping an eye on things" didn't let anyone stand up during the show (party pooper). When it was time for the encore they lost control of us crazy females, and we rushed the stage, and my big old belly was great to push people out of the way, so we were front row once again.
He didn't have time to sign autographs this time around, but Davide finally bought himself a shirt!
Today on the way home we stopped at Mystic Seaport and took some pics and watched the sail boats...it was nice and peaceful, and just what we needed, before we headed home to these crazy kids!
