Blue & Gold

Yesterday was the Blue & Gold banquet with my 6 year old cub scout. From my previous entries you guys know that I'm not a big cub scout person, it's something that Davide wanted to do with his son, so I encouraged it, but also keep my distance so they can bond and I don't end up with more on my plate.
The Blue & God dinner is a recognition event when the scouts get promoted to the next level, it's a nice party, with food and a crazy DJ who reminded us of the old guy from the six flags commercials. Since D sleeps on Sundays since he works night, I decided to go alone with Matthew, and had a blast.
I was so proud of my munchkin, and we even had our first mother/son dance (more of a wrestling match in our case) LOL
Anyway, I'm really glad that he decided to join cub scouts and stick with it!
PSA. when you ask someone to use your camera, please make sure they are capable~!grrrrr
