We don't really get a lot here, but it's just enough to cripple things and be utterly annoying.
Yesterday we got about 5 inches. The schools were closed, the kids were restless and all the therapy appointments that Christopher had got canceled.
Then today the wonderful snow turned into 2 inches of thick nasty ice all over my walkway driveway and enough on public roads to cause a 2 hour delay.
I used to love snow as a kid, but now I can't stand it. The kids like to play outside, but just long enough to get everything soaked, come inside dump their clothes in my dryer, have some hot chocolate and go back to being annoying. I will be a happy camper when this winter is over.
I'm still contemplating moving to a tropical island, but then we'll have to deal with hurricanes.....can't win I guess.

I grew up in Arizona--I think I'd really have a hard time living somewhere snowy!!
I've lived here for 17 years and I'm still not used to it!
Yes, the bad things with hurricanes is that you can't go out to play during them and you really don't get to cuddle/snuggle up and enjoy each other during them!! I would take a snow day or two down here for you!
