Since all his evaluations went a little too well, my case worker and the agency representative did a wonderful job explaining Christophers case to the head of Pre-School Special Ed (who used to be the shrink at the elementary school, who picked up on Anthony's Aspergers).
She was very fair at offering services for the fall, and even though I opted for him to stay in Early Intervention till the end of August, in September he will be in a 1/2 day program and still get Speech 2x a week and OT 2x a week, so we're very happy about that.
Christopher has made tremendous progress in the past year, and affording pre-school in the fall was going to be a problem, so I'm very glad that the district will be picking up the tab on this one.
Now it's time to start looking at the schools that offer the program and make a decision.....the fun continues.
