Went in to the hospital for the ultrasound and the technician took a bunch of measurements and then when she displayed the heart rate it was flat lined.
According to the measurements I was 15weeks 2 days, that was less than 5 days ago.
I'm just numb right now, I don't even know how to feel.
I go in on Tuesday for my D & E. I chose to get sedated and let them do their thing, I can't bear to go through labor.

I'm sorry. I know your sadness too -I was around 18 weeks when I lost the first pregnancy. It's so difficult for the mom and very sad for everyone. Sending thoughts of comfort you and your family's way.

Oh Anna- my heart breaks for you and your family. I know you were really excited about this new little-one-to-be and it seemed like perfect timing. How unbelievable to get into that second trimester and feel "safe" only to lose the baby. Hugs to you for the next events upcoming.

Anna, I am so so so so sorry. I have been where you are, except I was 26wks along. The same thing happened, the dr couldnt find the heartbeat and we went for an ultrasound to see if we could find it. I am so shocked and sorry to be reading about your loss this morning. I took the weekend away from the computer or I would have written sooner. My heart is sad for you and your family. I just can't imagine how awful this would be. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm very sad for you. I've had this experience, too. The children I've had since then don't change the fact that I miss the babies I never met face to face. You will always miss and love this little person, but the pain as you feel it right now will ease.
