As many of you know I'm a pictureholic,well it's about to come to an end as my Canon powershot A630 is no longer cooperating.
All of a sudden the flash in auto mode is no longer working, it flashes but the picture is dark!
I got it to work a little better on manual setting, but it's still pretty bad.
I'm soo upset over this. The company wants $87 just to look at it and it will take 1 to 2 weeks to get it back......do they know how many memories I will miss in that period of time?
So now it's decision making time, do I wait it out, try to get it repaired and hope it works....Do I start looking for a new one, even though I really can't afford it...
I'm just torn. I had to bring FIL's camera to the bon jovi concert and I'm soo not happy with how those pictures turned out, plus I need to return it.
I was looking at the Canon PowerShot Pro Series S5 but that's over $300, so we'll see.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hey Anna! I used to have a Canon SD 1000 and can't say enough good about it. They're discounted most places because the newer SD1100 has come out to replace it. The battery is rechargable which also saves money in the long run. HTH! I'd be miserable without my camera too, I'm always snapping something. :o)
