The almost moon

Another great book by Alice Sebold, this one has a slow beginning and a sudden ending but the middle makes it a worthwhile read.
The one thing that stuck with me through the whole thing was the "giant mother burrito". Just a cool visual I guess.
You can see her love as a mother and daughter and all the crazy thoughts that go though her head. Helen is truly a "character". Once I got into this book (it took me a while) it turned out to be a great read.
